Our Story

At My Escape Skin Spa, our intention is simple: to help every client feel nurtured, deeply relaxed, and completely confident that they are in the right place for their skin and wellbeing journey.

We believe great skin starts with understanding. That’s why every experience at My Escape begins with a thorough, personalised consultation. We take the time to listen; to your skin history, lifestyle, concerns, and goals so that we can treat your skin as it is today, not just follow a one-size-fits-all approach.

Many of our treatments are grounded in corneotherapy principles, with a strong focus on protecting, repairing, and strengthening the skin barrier. Rather than over-treating or chasing quick fixes, we work with your skin’s natural functions to create calm, resilient, healthy skin that lasts. Skin you can truly live in - without a complicated 20-step routine.

Every treatment on our menu is one we would confidently choose for our own skin. You’ll experience a beautiful, tranquil space, a warm welcome, and caring, intuitive hands; combined with thoughtful education and guidance, so you always understand why we’re recommending what we do.

A Little About Our Owner, Naomi

My journey into skin began long before My Escape. I spent years working in sales and marketing across consumer and B2B industries, while obsessively researching skincare and reading every article, exploring products and treatments from around the world, and constantly wanting to understand why skin behaves the way it does.

That passion eventually led me to pursue my Diploma in Beauty Therapy, and then, in May 2022, I bought My Escape Skin Spa. I haven’t looked back. Helping people feel more confident in their skin, calmer in their bodies, and supported on their journey is genuinely the most rewarding part of what I do.

Together with my beautiful team of therapists, I look forward to welcoming you and helping you achieve skin that feels strong, balanced, and truly your own.

  • If it's your first visit with us, then we strongly recommend our First Visit Customised Facial which features a comprehensive consult so we can get to know you and your skin thoroughly.

    This fully customised treatment features medical grade LED, serum and mask appropriate to your condition. We finish with a naturopathic herbal tea and a 'skin/self care' prescription for you going forward.
